Twisted Tahini Pies with Olympus Natural Tahini

Ingredients

100g Olympus Natural Tahini

50g Honey or molasses

1 sheet puff pastry

Preparation

Thaw one sheet of puff pastry. While it is thawing, prepare the tahini filling. In a bowl, mix the Olympus Natural Tahini with the honey or molasses until a thick paste is formed.

Slightly roll out the puff pastry sheet using a rolling pin and spread the mixture over half of the surface lengthwise. Fold the plain side over the covered side and, using a sharp knife, cut into long strips (breadsticks). Twist each strip with your hands in opposite directions, place them on a baking tray lined with parchment paper, and lightly brush them with a little water or plant-based milk.

Optionally, sprinkle with sesame seeds and bake in a preheated convection oven at 190°C for about 30 minutes or until golden brown. Let them cool and enjoy these quick and easy tahini pies. Store in an airtight container at room temperature.
